Mentorship is ageless.
We can learn from the experiences of the women who came before us. We can also learn from a youthful fresh perspective.
Look up, look down...mentorship is all around.
Thanks to Naomi Thomas for reminding me that.
Check out her words of wisdom from her Pop-Up Mentor session:
1. No one owes you anything. Just try your hardest to work for it, and if you don't get exactly what you wanted, you will have grown so much in the process, you usually end up earning more of a reward than expected.
2. Take your time - it's better to plan and strategize than to rush and minimize quality.
3. Never forget to thank the people that helped you get to where you are - and never burn bridges.
